Absolutely. We’re happy for you to arrange an independent mechanic to inspect the car before you buy — we want you to feel completely confident in your decision.

Here’s how it works:

  • An appointment is required — just let us know when your mechanic plans to come in and we’ll have the car ready

  • We recommend placing a fully refundable deposit to hold the car while you organise the inspection — that way, it won’t be sold to someone else in the meantime

  • Your CarPlace partner will work with you to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day

If your mechanic gives the thumbs up and you're happy to go ahead, we’ll help finalise the paperwork and get your car ready for collection or delivery.
